New Car Caviar began small in September 2013 as a duo, with Michael and Amy Boyd (of Sense & Color School of Music) on acoustic guitar and vocals, but the project swiftly gained momentum in October 2013 with the addition of fellow music teachers Randal Robledo and Josh Terry. Soon after, a Craigslist ad brought in Matt Meldrum on the upright bass, and local jamband drummer Enzo Loechel joined the group for the perfect finish.

Together, the group is tackling some of the most epic music ever written, and loving every minute of it.
